Résumé :	Translating Change explores and analyses the impact of changes in society, culture and language on the translation and interpreting process and product. Résumé :	Ce mémoire s'intéresse aux difficultés lexicales et aux besoins langagiers en expression orale rencontrés par les étudiants de première année de médecine. L'objectif est d'identifier les obstacles lexicaux auxquels ils sont confrontés et de comprendre leurs besoins spécifiques en matière de communication orale dans le contexte médical. La recherche s'appuie sur une analyse quantitative et qualitative de données récoltées auprès d'étudiants et de professeurs de médecine. des observations en classe ont permis de recueillir des informations sur les difficultés lexicales et les besoins langagiers spécifiques à ce groupe d'étudiants. L'analyse des données met en évidence la complexité du lexique médical et les difficultés rencontrées par les étudiants à acquérir et à utiliser correctement les termes spécifiques à la discipline. La recherche révèle également des besoins importants en matière d'expression orale, notamment la capacité à communiquer clairement et efficacement avec les patients, les collègues et les professeurs. Le mémoire propose des recommandations pratiques pour améliorer l'apprentissage du lexique médical et développer les compétences en expression orale des étudiants. Il souligne l'importance d'une approche pédagogique adaptée à leurs besoins spécifiques et d'une formation axée sur la communication professionnelle en médecine .

Résumé :	David Fincher's 2008 film adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald's The Curious Case of Benjamin Button is a visually stunning exploration of time, aging, and the human experience. This analysis examines how Fincher's innovative use of digital cinematography complements and enhances the novel's narrative structure. By analyzing the film's camera movements, lighting, and editing techniques, this studydemonstrates howtheadaptation successfully preserves and expands upon the core themes and emotional impact of the original source material. This dissertation employs qualitative questionnaires to examine how the film adaptation shapes audience perceptions and to compare the alternative narrative strategies used in the film and novel. Findings indicate that film adaptation preserves central components of the narrative in the novel, along with many of the details included in it, but plays an important role in providing understanding to the audience as presented on screen and emotional understanding through transitional scenes not present in the literary work. This thesis is intended to enhance our understanding of literary adaptation and the representation of complex narratives into visual form, but also to emphasize the screen image besides the problem of articulation, marking its own set of formal qualities worthy of consideration when analyzing adaptation to screen.
