Titre : | Water Solar Energy Nexus: Case Study Of The Solar Power Plant 1, Tilghemelt | Type de document : | document multimédia | Auteurs : | Yacine Bensafiddine, Auteur ; Nassim Omar Aida, Auteur ; Mohamed Teggar, Directeur de thèse | Editeur : | Laghouat : Université Amar Telidji - Département de génie mécanique | Année de publication : | 2024 | Importance : | 60p. | Accompagnement : | 1 CD ROM Optique Némérique | Note générale : | Renewable Energy | Langues : | Anglais | Mots-clés : | energy, hybrid, solar energy, sustainability | Résumé : | Algeria, like many other countries, recognizes the necessity of addressing energy challenges amid global calls for environmental preservation. With its abundant energy resources, both fossil fuels and renewables, Algeria is strategically moving towards sustainable development. The objective of this endeavor is to focus on integrating energy resources, namely solar and fossil fuel (GAS), into Algeria's energy mix. An important initiative is the hybrid power station in Hassi R'mel, which has a capacity of 150 megawatts. and is operated by [SPP01]. The aim of this project is to reduce emissions, enhance air quality, and promote sustainability, highlighting the pivotal role of technologies such as solar concentration and the Rankine cycle with reheating in achieving efficiency goals. Additionally, the treatment of urban wastewater, as exemplified by the Hassi R'mel plant, underscores Algeria's commitment to sustainable urban development and environmental protection. Through such initiatives, Algeria seeks to alleviate energy scarcity, economic crises, and environmental concerns, aligning with global efforts towards a sustainable future. | note de thèses : | memoire de master Génie mécanique |
