The BDFIG promise significant advantages for wind energy conversion systems due to their lower costs and greater reliability compared to conventional double-fed induction machines (DFIG). For this, in the first step, a general overview of wind conversion systems was presented, then we have exposed the evolution of wind turbines in recent decades. In addition, a theoretical reminder on the different types of aero generators was given. In a second phase, we have modelled the BDFIG and its power supply consisting mainly of a voltage inverter controlled by PWM. The modelling of wind turbine was also explained.
In the third phase, we have presented the vector control laws applied to BDFIG as well as the OTC MPPT technique. In the last phase, different numerical simulation results of the control presented have illustrated and commented on. The obtained results confirmed the effectiveness of the proposed control by ensuring good performance. | note de thèses : | Mémoire de master en électrotechnique |
