The fluid is considered, Newtonian, incompressible with constant properties. The CFD software FLUENT 6.3 is used to simulate the fluid flow and heat transfer fields. The governing equations, based on the SST k-w model used to describe the turbulence, are discretized using the finite volume approach. The numerical results were compared with available experimental data from the literature and good agreement is obtained. |
