Titre : | A theoretical investigation of emerging perovskite materials for heterojunction solar cells | Type de document : | document multimédia | Auteurs : | Mohamed El Said Sarhani, Auteur ; Taher Daham, Directeur de thèse ; Bachir Bentria, Directeur de thèse | Editeur : | Laghouat : Université Amar Telidji - Département des sciences de la matière | Année de publication : | 2024 | Importance : | 97 p. | Accompagnement : | 1 disque optique numérique (CD-ROM) | Note générale : | Option : Material physics | Langues : | Anglais | Résumé : | This thesis is structured into two main parts: a comprehensive exploration of theoretical concepts surrounding solar cells and a detailed simulation study aimed at understanding the performance of emerging Perovskite materials. The theoretical foundation begins with an in-depth discussion on the principles of solar cells, including their historical evolution and fundamental electrical parameters. Transitioning to Perovskite solar cells, the thesis meticulously examines the crystal structures of these emerging materials. This section also addresses the challenges and opportunities presented by these materials in the context of heterojunction solar cells, laying a strong foundation for the subsequent simulation studies. In the simulation study section, an AB-INITIO investigation is conducted on select emerging Perovskite materials. This study provides valuable insights into their electronic and optoelectronic properties, shedding light on their potential for efficient energy conversion in heterojunction solar cells. Additionally, simulations using advanced computational tools such as SCAPS-1D are employed to explore the photo-conversion performance of these Perovskite materials within heterojunction architectures. The results presented in this thesis showcase significant advancements in our understanding of emerging Perovskite materials for heterojunction solar cells. These findings not only contribute valuable knowledge to the scientific literature but also demonstrate the potential of Perovskite materials as key components in the development of efficient and cost-effective solar energy solutions. The thesis emphasizes the importance of theoretical investigations in guiding the design and optimization of Perovskite-based heterojunction solar cells. | note de thèses : | Thèse de doctorat en physique |
