Davy and the Goblin, or What Followed Reading "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland," is a related story, written by Charles Edward Carryl (Houghton, 1909, 1920). Alice Through the Needl e's Eye is a contemporary sequel written by Gilbert Adair (Dutton, 1985). Barry Moser's illustrations for the 1982 edition were awarded the American Book Award for Pictorial Design, 1983. Anthony Browne's illustrations for the 1988 edition were Highly Commended by the Kate Greenaway Medal, 1989. Outstanding Quality.
